Women's Soccer vs. Chapman (W 3-2)
It was a pleasant night for sports so I headed over to Farquhar Field to catch the second half of the women's soccer game against the Panthers of Chapman. It had been a scoreless 1st half so I meandered past the team to the Bulldog goal end of the field. I was not disappointed. Jamie knocked in two goals in the next 3 minutes. Whoohoo! Lady Bulldogs take a comfortable lead! Just 3 minutes later, the Panthers knocked in 2 goals of their own! Boom Boom. One minute. Score is tied. The Bulldogs continued to pressure the goal and our stubborn perseverance paid off when Meghan shot a goal with 28 seconds left in the game. GOAL!!!!! It was exciting to watch! Way to go Ladies!!! Go Bulldogs!

Volleyball vs. Pomona-Pitzer (L 1-3)
The Lady Bulldogs came out strong and took the 1st game from the Sagehens. In both the 2nd and 3rd games they battled back from deficits to just lose 23-25. In the end, the Hens finished us off in the 4th game. We're improving. We need to get all our serves in. Our court coverage is getting better. Next home match is against Oxy on Oct. 4. Come out and cheer on the Bulldogs!

Men's Soccer vs. UC Santa Cruz (W 3-0)
In an inspired performance, our men's soccer team spent the better part of the game against the Banana Slugs on the offensive and it ended in a 3-0 victory. We moved and passed the ball as well as any game I've seen thus far. Our speed was evident and without some good goalkeeping the score differential might have been greater. Danny and Matej scored in the first half and Nick added an insurance goal in the second. Our next home game is against CMS this Saturday at 1 pm. There were many fans out tonight but there's always room for more. If you want to see some good soccer, make your way to Farquhar Field. Go Dawgs!
