Women's Basketball vs. CLU (L 58-61)
Tonight's game was physical by design. CLU was called for 30 fouls and we took 43 free throws. But we failed to take full advantage of the charity stripe by missing 15 of those free throws. They made 10 three pointers, most at critical times, and we hit five. It was a game of long periods of drought followed by exciting come backs. We were down 10 with 10 to play and we came back to within one before our run finally ended. It was still a great season and we'll miss Courtney and Mariah next year; two of the best Bulldog basketball players ever. We were lucky to have watched them play and win as many games as they did in their careers. Go Dawgs!

Women's Basketball vs. CMS (W 70-53)
The Bulldogs hosted the Athenas of CMS in the first round of the SCIAC post season tournament and coach has our team peaking at the right time. It wasn't too long ago that the Athenas almost pulled out a victory at Currier Gym, but tonight we went out to an early lead and never relented. All five starters scored in double figures and the support from the bench was awesome. In an unexpected twist, we get to host the next round as well as Oxy lost to Cal Lu. Let's get some support out to see the game at 7 pm. Go Dawgs!
Women's Lacrosse vs. Pomona-Pitzer (W 18-9)
The lights were out on the Sagehens (literally they were off and delayed the start of the game 15 minutes!) as the Lady Bulldogs dominated their first home game this season on Farquhar Field. This comes after Redlands beat CMS for the 1st time in 13 years!!! It is a talented squad who seem in the best shape ever! (I enjoyed watching all the action and searching the fans for left-over chicken dinners!) The Dawgs go on the road for the next few games in the Northwest, but return home on March 15 against Kenyon at 7 pm. It's going to be an exciting season!!!

SCIAC Diving Championships - Round 1
Thompson Aquatic center was the site of the 2012 SCIAC diving championship prelims. The women competed on the 3 m board on Saturday while the men used the 1 m board. They reversed apparatus on Sunday. Eli finished 4th on Saturday on the 1 m while Shelby and DrewAnn finished 3rd and 7th respectively on the 3 m. On Sunday, Eli made the final 8 on the high dive and I will report later the results of the women's 1 m. It was great hanging out with all the Bulldog fans. Finals will conclude next weekend. Way to go Bulldogs!!!!
