Read Across America

It was Read Across America Day today; an event held each year in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday. Last year I read Wag, Wag, Wag. This year I read The Smushy Bus at Mariposa Elementary School. I had fun. Talulah had fun. The kids had fun. Who knew I was going to have to read over Spring Break!

Senior Night at Currier Gym

Two basketball games back to back. Final home games. Senior night. I was exhausted so I asked Cap'n Jack to pay a visit and cover for me while I grabbed a few winks below the scoring table. Best of luck to the Lady Bulldogs in the SCIAC tournament on February 28th.

Saturday Softball and Tennis

I have a full slate of activities today. First, Talulah and I made it out to watch a few innings of softball. What a perfect afternoon to hang out and watch the Lady Bulldogs. Next, we headed over to catch some tennis. Just as Talulah tried her teeth at restringing a racquet, we caught her. Later this evening, I have two basketball games to attend. I think Sunday will be a long day of rest, and Monday...but that's ok. It's Spring Break!

Captain Jack pays a visit

Jack stopped by this weekend and boy is he getting bigger! He's almost as big as me. If he keeps growing like this we may need to suit him up next fall and put him on the front line of the football team. Talulah enjoyed the company but she couldn't resist a few kid sister antics.

Double Overtime

Tonight we watched a double overtime game with Occidental. It was fan appreciation night and the Lady Bulldogs gave it their all. Talulah was understandably pooped at the end of the game.
