Double Overtime! Sudden death double overtime! And we won! After 102 minutes of an unusually rough game (37 fouls and three yellow cards), Nick headed a corner kick from Cale into the back of the net for the 1-0 victory. Whew! That was too close. Kudos to the large crowd of students, parents, and fans. I expect most of them will be around on Saturday night as we play Pomona in the final SCIAC post season tournament game. Now it's off to bed. These late night nail-biting games are rough. If you see me sleeping in my kennel tomorrow it's only because I have a very busy Saturday - football, women's soccer, men's soccer, and basketball.
