Thurber and I watched tonight's game vs. the Beavers of Caltech where 10 of our 11 players scored en route to an impressive 82-35 SCIAC victory. The Beavers are playing improved ball but then so are our Bulldogs. We went on a 14 -0 run in the middle of the first half and 11 -0 and 16-0 runs in the second. Thurber could be heard barking during the second run. I'll have to work on his game etiquette, but I like his enthusiasm. Overall we shot 47 percent from the floor and near 75 percent from the line. Both good numbers as we head into the final stretch of SCIAC play. But more importantly, we played great defense holding them to 24 percent shooting and causing 23 turnovers. We have one more home game of the regular season and that is Senior Night, February 13 vs. the Poets of Whittier. We have two outstanding Seniors who have enjoyed two outstanding careers at Redlands featured in that game. Be there!
