Thurber enjoyed the morning check in at Orton with a great turnout of incoming students and their parents. As this was Redlands Connection Day, I felt it appropriate to send the incoming mascot to greet the incoming students. This is his first class. The Class of 2014! I stayed home and slept in. Thurber needs casual and fun days like this to get ready for the excitement of fall school and sports events. He cruised through the crowd, greeting all and leaving most with a smile across their face. Get to know him. You'll find him with me in the kennel at the Willis Center and he'll need an occasional handler to take him out for walks once the academic year begins. Welcome.
