A rare sighting of the Phoenix at Farquhar Field was witnessed by a great crowd of fans, parents, and kids. However, the Phoenix will have to wait to rise another day as the Lady Bulldogs extinguished the flames in their 3-0 victory. I gave our team a slight advantage by letting some of the players warm their hands by petting me. Halftime entertainment was provided by the AYSO Roadrunners. Naturally I had them mug for a photo.
