I arrived at the end of the first half to a 1-1 tie. Was I concerned? Nope. Then I saw another bulldog come onto the pitch and of all things he was wearing a La Verne shirt. Huh? Not on my turf. What was he thinking? Don't worry, I won't dignify the blog with a photo of that. Anyway, despite the conflicted canine, I knew we were ready to deliver some crushing blows. Sure enough, we scored three more times and handily defeated the Leopards 4-2. Good luck vs. the slugs on Monday.
