Talulah and I made it to campus and entertained some visiting middle school students before tonight's volleyball game, but we were discouraged from actually attending the game because of NCAA rules; no live mascots. That seems ridiculous but we abided by the edict and stayed home. However, we sent our handler to attend because this opening match was going to set the tone for the rest of the weekend. And it did. What a tremendous display our lady Bulldogs put on. And again it was without a key player as Megan was sidelined with an ankle injury. We were on from the opening serve and eliminated Chapman in straight sets. Tomorrow night we face off with another familiar foe, La Verne. There were 400 plus in attendance tonight. We could stand to use a few more tomorrow because I hear the baseball team might be out of town. Let's show some support for the Bulldogs!
