Now to the second round of the double header vs the Sagehens; the men's turn. The score in the first half of the game went back and forth. It was evenly matched and we ended with a strong run to go up by eight points. That was uplifting, but we failed to capitalize on the momentum. Then came the second half where we scored half as many points as we did in the first. That's generally not a good trend. Our shooting percentage dropped to 21 percent and we let the Sagehens escape with a 14 point victory. But there's promise. We looked confident and quick at times and we'll give the remaining teams on our schedule all they can handle. Plus, I'm working on a routine where the cheerleaders spin and throw me. That's sure to scare our opponents.
