Track and Field: Run

Here's the first of three posts from the SCIAC multi-dual meet at Ashel Cunningham Track. Our lady Bulldogs posted victories over the Athenas (101-62) and the Regals (91-72). They're 3-1 now. Our men posted a victory over the Kingsmen (116-44) but lost by one point to the Stags (81-82). They're 3-1 too. There was so much going on and this is the last home meet of the year so we decided to share as much of our student's successes as possible. Thurber and Talulah worked hard today cheering on where and when they could. I was told that Thurber waited for the Steeplechase to finish before cooling off in the puddle. In the running events, Katie won the women's steeplechase. Jeremy and Alec came in 2nd and 3rd. Other highlights include Ross and Ashley winning the 110 and 100 hurdles. Ryan and Onesa winning the 200 m dashes. Cameron winning the 400 m hurdles. Vainayaki winning the 400 m dash. Heather and Duncan winning the 800 m races. Both teams winning the 4 X 100 relays and 4 X 400 relays.
