Track and Field: Throw

This is the second post from the track. Here we focus on the throwing events. Mackenzie (you may remember her from the basketball team!) threw two and half feet beyond the NCAA provisional mark and won the javelin by the height of a rim. Should we have her throwing inbound passes next year? Rich Valenti achieved another NCAA provisional mark by throwing the discus almost 157 feet. He won and placed well in the other throwing events. Thurber was enthralled with the hammer. It was the first time he was outside a fence watching the action inside. Talulah had to hold him back though as he was itching to play fetch after each throw.
