Another beautiful day in Redlands. And how better to spend it than watch some waterpolo at the aquatic center. The Regals were in town. They were the standard of the SCIAC last year and this was going to be a test of where we stood. Showing up fashionably late, I waltzed in to a 5 to nil score with our lady Bulldogs on the wrong side of the equation. Darn it! How did that happen?! Well, the next two quarters we played them even. We played them tough and we played with urgency. Our goals were the product of good defense and good plays. But our goals were answered by their goals; fast breaks and two on ones or three on ones. Whitney did what she could. We got close, but a 7-1 Regal run to end the game did us in. Moana and Jaime each scored three goals, but the Regals prevailed 16-7. Our two seniors, Whitney and Jade, will be honored on Saturday in the 11 am game vs. La Verne. We need you there!
