With a full slate of athletic events to attend today, I sand bagged the first half of the soccer game and showed up for the last 45 at Farquhar Field. When I got there I was a bit taken a back by the one to nil score in favor of the Tigers. I was told the lone score happened in the first 30 seconds. To be honest, I'm not sure how that one goal stood up for the final. Our ladies took nearly a dozen shots in the second half and it seemed that half of them hit the post or cross bar and the other half were collected or rejected by their keeper. Our keeper kept them scoreless in the second period, but we just couldn't find the equalizer. This wasn't a game where we were playing on our back feet either. Nope. We were moving and creating opportunities, but we just couldn't convert. It was a bit unlucky but we'll hold our heads high and attack even harder the next game. Off the Currier Gym.
