Duke made an appearance for the second half of the men's basketball game; the finals of the Lee Fulmer Tournament that pitted our Bulldogs against the Chapman Panthers. When he arrived the half time score was knotted at 25. Clearly defense ruled the first half for both sides. In the second half, our Bulldogs touch went cold and the Panthers built what proved to be an insurmountable lead on 82 percent shooting. That's right, 82 percent. Duke's been to many basketball games before, but never one where the other team couldn't miss. We fought back several times, Kirk and Matt leading the effort, but it wasn't enough. Next up, our Bulldogs play the Divison 1 Waves of Pepperdine this coming Thursday in Malibu. Our next home game is after Christmas on December 29th.
