Rah Rah Redlands with In and Out and Hangar 24 was a brilliant idea (Thanks Town and Gown!) and an excellent venue for Duke to hand over his reign as mascot to his grandson Thurber. And to make it even more special, Thurber was pampered with a tricked out UR wagon of his own donated by the Hatfields. Both dogs were escorted through hundreds of UR fans and their families who were being entertained by the Redlands Fourth of July Band and the Mariposa Chorus. Both dogs were then honored with a short ceremony where Dr. Appleton officially collared Thurber as the new Mascot. Thurb's Blurbs begin and Duke steps away from a long and successful run.
