The Warriors of Westmont visited Farquhar Field for the Women's Soccer Team's first match of the season. The Warriors had two games under their belt and were 1-0-1. On paper it looked like a fair test, but on the pitch the Bulldogs excelled. We put two early balls into the net for a 2 nil half time lead. In the waning heat of the second half, we scored another to make the final tally 3-0. Twenty-four different Bulldogs got into the game, including six freshman. The win bodes well for a strong season as does our team depth. Thurber and Talulah braved the 100 plus degree weather to watch the game and mingle with the fans whilst I laid at home on the cool tile floor. I'm beginning to like this retirement thing.
