The Bulldogs and the Sagehens came into today's match tied atop SCIAC after both notching wins in their first games. The weather was perfect, if not a tad hot for Talulah and myself, and the fans came out in great numbers to fill the grass stands. Maddy scored first to give us a one nil lead which we took to half time. The Sagehens were a bit sluggish the first half, only mustering one shot on goal to our six. Rachel stopped the lone shot and after the Sagehens woke up in the second half, she made four more to complete the shutout victory. With the game picking up speed in the second half, our Bulldogs capitalized two more times with Fiona and Kendall getting balls past their goalie. Our team looks good. I recommend more fans come out on Saturdays to watch in case they hand out free otter pops again. Off to Rah Rah Redlands now!
