Standing atop the SCIAC, our Lady Bulldogs hosted the Wheaton Thunder in a non-conference match. The Thunder are a nationally ranked team that probably doesn't play in October heat all that often. Yeah, it was hot today. It reached 98 degrees and I made sure to hang in the shade as I watched our team go up 1-0 on a corner kick goal by Fionna and then 2-0 on a second half goal by Chelsea. We played exceptionally well and the Homecoming crowd was plentiful and pleased. Great game in goal Tenley. Great game ladies. next up, CMS.
