I stopped by Verdieck Courts this afternoon to watch our Bulldogs take on nationally ranked Amherst. I stopped by mainly to support our team and partly to see if the Amherst mascot was in town. What exactly is a Lord Jeff? Well I scanned the crowd on another beautiful day in Redlands and I didn't see anyone wearing a crown or wig. I guess their mascot doesn't travel or if he does it's by coach! I wish I could report a victory here for our Bulldogs, but the Jeffs played up to their 10th pace ranking and defeated us 7-2.
