Four teams played four games today at Thompson Aquatic Center in the Redlands Mini Tournament No.2. Our Lady Bulldogs beat CMS in the opener 8-6. That was a great win for us (too bad I slept in for that one!). It wasn't an official SCIAC win, but it means our ladies will be a force to reckon with when league play begins. During the afternoon game, Thurber and I watched our team go down quite a few goals in the first half, only to come back and outscore the Matadors in the second. Our rally fell just short, we lost 10-8, but it showed the bulldog toughness we've come to expect. We have another tournament this Friday and Saturday as we host some of the CBU Lancer Invite. If the weather holds out, and it should, these will be perfect games to kick back in the sun and enjoy.
