One last Senior Day for today played out on Farquhar Field when we said thank you to Christy for a career unmatched by any previous Bulldog Lacrosse player. And as the sun set on the field, Christy scored the first Bulldog goal of the game to even the match. From there she and Aimee paced each other to seven goal games. Duke was impressed as usual with the speed and movement of Christy despite a wrapped knee and obvious limp. That's a Bulldog through and through. The Sagehens gave us a good game. They stayed around and never were far from our total. After suffering two SCIAC losses away from home, it was nice to finish this one off. On the grass in attendance tonight were a number of high school lacrosse players from Orange County. They saw a great game at a great venue. Maybe one of them will be a Bulldog one day. We have one more home game on April 24, a make up for an earlier rain out. Go Dawgs!
