After tennis I strolled over to Thompson Aquatic Center to watch our first SCIAC women's water polo game vs. the Athenas of CMS. We've played a competitive schedule thus far to get ready for league, but who knew league was going to be this rough. The play in the pool was aggressive, bruising, and tenacious. As Bulldogs, we can play that way, but it threw us off balance and by the start of the fourth quarter the score was 5 to 5. From this point, the game picked up some speed. We'd go ahead. CMS would get an equalizer. We'd go ahead. They'd make another run. Eventually we won 10-8. Great game Dawgs! We play a double header at home next Saturday. The weather should be perfect again. Come on out and support the team.
