Tennis was the first of four sporting events I attended today. Our Lady Bulldogs were taking on the number 6 ranked Sagehens of Pomona-Pitzer at Verdieck Courts. I stayed around for the doubles matches and I even cavorted a bit with the opposing players. I was hoping to intimidate them but I ended up rolling over and letting them pet my belly. Oh well, best intentions... When the doubles were done, Julia and Jessica gave us our first point. Down one going into singles, we won another point when Sara won in three sets, and Jessica pushed her match to three sets, but eventually lost. Chapman is next on our schedule; @ home Wednesday at 3 pm.
