As if water polo wasn't tough enough, we had two games today at Thompson Aquatic Center (at least it didn't rain during the games, but it sure was cold when the sun went behind the clouds). The first game was against the Poets of Whittier College. By the time Duke arrived, it was in the second half and our Bulldogs had a one goal advantage. The Poets would tie it up. We'd go back ahead. And that's how it went to the final whistle with us preserving our undefeated SCIAC record with a one goal win. Jaime accounted for six of our ten goals while Julie made nine crucial saves. In the second game the Panthers of Chapman found themselves down five before they found a rhythm. By then it was too late and Moana, Joy, Jaime, and Jill had multi score games and our Bulldogs swam away with an impressive 14-7 win. There's another home game next Saturday against the Beavers of Caltech. Come on out and root on your Dawgs!
