I pulled double mascot duty today. First it was off to the aquatics center to attend the afternoon pool party. There were flip-flops on the deck and flips and flops off the diving boards. New and returning students were everywhere. It was great fun, but a little hot so I went home early to rest and cool down. Then, it was off to the President's house for dessert where I met many of the same new students eating ice cream and chocolate covered shortbread. I walked President Dorsey around a bit to make sure he mingled with everyone. Now it's off to bed to get ready for the first day of class.
