Lacrosse vs. Pomona-Pitzer

On a windy day at Farquhar Field, our Bulldogs fell in the third overtime period to a resurgent Sagehen team that somehow found a way to win. We jumped out to a lead in the first half but quick Sagehen scores at the start of the second put us on our back paws the rest of the game. Goals were traded back and forth. We played real well and just came up short. This is a standout team with an incredible run of victories to start the year. Great job Dawgs! Next year we'll be that much hungrier to reach the top of the SCIAC. We can do it. We just have to wait. Bulldogs are patient.

Baseball vs. Whittier W 3-2

I made it to the Yard at the end of the 7th inning in a scoreless battle between the Poets and the Bulldogs. I was hoping to get some scoring magic to occur. I was a little concerned when Whittier scored 2 runs at the top of the 8th. I hustled over to the Bulldog dugout to rally the troops. I was not disappointed. Max singled followed by another single from Brandon. That set up Chase to knock a homer over left field and the Dawgs were up 3-2! Even though we filled the bases again that inning, the rally was over. Kyle got his first save allowing no hits in the 9th. Way to go SCIAC Champions! Come out and cheer on the seniors next Saturday as they take on nationally ranked Chapman in our final home game double-header. Should be a great day and excellent baseball action.

Two full pups

And after a feeding we know things are going well when our little gorgers start blowing milk bubbles out their noses.

Pupdate Day Three

Everything is going well to this point. Just about every other hour the pups are ready for a feeding. Talulah is very agreeable to this cycle and her motherly skills (x7!) and patience are remarkable. Here are a few shots of her pups. They range in weights right now from 8.0 oz to 11.5 oz.

Lacrosse vs. Oxy (W 16-10)

Having lost to the Tigers in the final six seconds the last time we met, our Bulldog Lacrosse team was ready to defend our Farquhar turf. And defend we did. Ana played a standout game in front of the net; she saved 13 shots and kept the Tigers from mounting a comeback after they fell behind 7-3 in the first half. The rest of the defense was outstanding as well. On offense, Christy rattled off three goals in the first minutes of the game and assisted on four others as the night wore on. Jacky led the team with four goals, KK had three, Aimee two, and one each for Blair, Katie, Megan, and Crystal. We play host to the SCIAC Tournament this coming Saturday. Our game will be at 2:30 pm. If you're around during May term, we need your support. Joozy Woozy! Go Dawgs!
