Lastly we have the jumping events. The highlight was the pole vault. It's also the least busy part of the track and a perfect place to lay in the grass and relax. Kelsey cleared another school record (11'8") and made a NCAA provisional cut. Freshman Ashley cleared 10'10" and came in second. Two other freshmen, Bryan and Cory, did well for our men. Mackenzie and Rachel cleared 4'9" in the high jump. Kortney outdistanced the field by a yard in the triple jump and made yet another Bulldog NCAA provisional mark. Andy won the men's triple jump. All in all a great day at the track for the Bulldogs. We came within one point of a multi-dual meet sweep against two perennially strong teams. Let's keep the forward momentum. Go Dawgs!
