Saturday night was the first SCIAC double header featuring both the women's and the men's basketball teams pairing off against the Poets of Whittier College. In the first match-up, the Lady Bulldogs kept the Poets from writing much in the scoring department holding them to only 15 points at half. They continued to dominate the 2nd half finishing the Poets off by a score of 60 - 45. The Lady Bulldogs are currently tied for 1st place in conference with a 2-0 record. I got to find an additional half-time activity - chasing the broom! It kind of tired me out for playing ball, but I still got jumps!!! The Bulldogs now go on the road but return to Currier Gym on January 19. I'll be keeping track of their efforts. GO DAWGS!!!
