The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Athenas and Stags came to Currier Gymnasium on Saturday night. The stands were filled with numerous fans and families to cheer on the Bulldogs. Kids got to play on the courts at half time during both games. The women managed to come from a 7 point deficit late in the game (thanks to some critical buckets by Courtney!) and stave off the Athenas last drive in the last few seconds to pull off a 1 point win. The men kept the #11 Stags to a 1 point advantage at half time, but were unable to keep up during the 2nd half. It was a good effort. We may be battling them again in post-season tournament play. There are only 2 more home games left this season - the women honor two graduating seniors on Feb. 16 at 7:30 while the men honor five graduates on Feb. 21 at 7:30. It's been a great season so far - Way to go Bulldogs!!!
