Football vs. Oxy (W 49 - 7)

It was Bring a Kid to the Game and Coaches for a Cure for M.D. Night at Ted Runner Stadium. The Bulldogs were well rested and hungry for a win. The Tigers didn't have a chance! They didn't even score until the 4th quarter. I got to do a lot of "high fives" for all the points Redlands scored - it was a lot of fun! It was great seeing all the kids on the field as well during half-time. It was a long day and I appreciated my wagon during the 2nd half. Way to go DAWGS!!! Keep playing like Saturday night and CLU will be riding their horses home in defeat as well next week. GO BULLDOGS!!!!

Men's Soccer vs. UCSC (W 3 - 0)

More action on Saturday at Farquhar Field. The Banana Slugs of UC Santa Cruz oozed onto the pitch to play the Bulldogs. Redlands easily took care of the slimy opponents with 3 goals in the first half and never gave them any opportunity to score a point the entire game. Great non-conference win DAWGS!!! Lots of home action to come starting on Wednesday when the Bulldogs take on the Poets at 7 pm. GO BULLDOGS!!!!

Men's Water Polo vs. Navy (L 14 -17)

There was exciting activity at Thompson Aquatic center as well on Saturday. The Bulldogs were combating the 15th ranked team from Navy. We almost pulled off an upset! All the quarters were close and we were within 1 goal each time. Redlands is more than ready for SCIAC competition. Watch out opponents!! The DAWGS are HUNGRY!!! Go Bulldogs!!!!

Women's Soccer vs. Pomona-Pitzer (T 1-1 2OT)

It was the start of a busy afternoon of sports. The Lady Bulldogs started by battling the Sagehens on Farquhar Field. It was a scoreless game until the 2nd half when Pomona-Pitzer found the net on a brief lapse of concentration by the Redlands defense. But we persevered and hit a goal with less than 5 minutes remaining in the game. Both teams had opportunities in the two overtime periods, but we had to settle for a tie. Next home match is Saturday, Oct. 6 at 1 pm. Come out and cheer on the DAWGS!!!!
