The second half of the double header was witness to a packed and fun crowd. I'm sure they ran out of fan appreciation t-shirts early, but the crowd never waivered in enthusiasm. Thurber grabbed a t-shirt. Sorry. Even the mascot in training needs a little bling every now and then. At the start of the game, our men were tied for first in the SCIAC. By the end, we still were. The Leopards never led. Our defense held them to 33 percent shooting. Only one of their players scored in double figures while we had four on our way to a 78-61 victory. We were able to get in 15 different players tonight. Our guys are playing great basketball right now. The CMS Stags come into town on Wednesday for a battle of the number ones. Let's have another great showing of support.
