The Women's Water Polo team opened up against a familair SCIAC foe in the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens. This was our first game of the season and their third and the experience of game play showed. Our young Bulldog squad swam, passed, and shot well at Thompson Aquatic Center but not well enough to defeat the Sagehens. We lost 12-7. We'll see them again when it comes to conference play. I hung out in the stands and slept in the sun for the better part of the match. We have another game at 2:30 pm against the Coyotes of CSU San Bernardino. Enjoy the weather, watch some water polo, and rest your eyes between quarters. How can you beat that?
