Visiting Oxy was sitting solo atop the SCIAC so this game tonight at Currier Gym was an important one. Important enough that Courtney returned to the line up after a four game hiatus. At the start it looked like importance aside, it was going to be a rout. We held the Tigers to just 3 points in 11 minutes of play and we built a sizable double digit lead. But the Tigers didn't crack and they found a way to make it a game on the back on one player who poured in 30 points from wherever she caught the ball. We kept our focus. We kept executing our offense and we kept up the pressure on D. They got close, but we found contributions from everyone on the floor to keep us in the lead. Mariah ended with 23, Brittany with 16, Courtney had 11, and Allison had 9. We now share the SCIAC lead at the top with Caltech coming to town this Saturday at 5 pm. Maroon Out! Go Dawgs!
