And finally....Lacrosse. My last event of the day was only a short walk over to Farquhar Field to see the second half of our Lacrosse match against the Big Red of Denison. I was hoping for less drama like the night before where we had to mount a furious comeback in the second half. After a long day I wanted an easy victory to revel in and have fun. And that's what our Bulldogs delivered. On top of that, I got to see a seven goal performance by Christy Smith that propelled her to the career 200 goal mark. I don't think anyone saw that coming tonight. She's as bandaged as the basketball team was this year. She shouldn't be that explosive, but she is. What a great performance and what a great supporting crowd. That's 8-0! And a few extra days rest before the Wildcats of Linfield visit next Thursday. Way to go Dawgs!
