On a special and picture perfect night to raise awareness about ALS, our Lady Bulldogs faced off against the Golden Bears of Western New England College. I recommend you take time to look up ALS and see if there's a way you can support the research to fight this disease. It struck home for one of our players and that means it struck home for all Bulldogs. And speaking of our Bulldogs, it looked like our perfect 6-0 record was in jeopardy as the Golden Bears ran out to a 5-3 lead by half. The second half of the second half though we went on a tear, led by Aimee's frequent netters - 6 for the game, and what was a five down deficit was turned into a three goal victory. Crystal and Jacky scored two goals a piece too. But it was the stellar team defense and the spectacular saves by Ana that won the day. Way to go! Bulldogs love to win on defense! We're stubborn that way. We play the Big Red of Denison tomorrow night at 7:30 pm. Come on out to Farquhar Field and root on your 7-0 Bulldogs!
