It was good to see so many fans taking advantage of unusually good weather for a water polo game. Both teams seemed evenly matched and our Bulldogs were in control for most of the game. But the Red Foxes of Marist came back in the fourth quarter to steal victory, 12-11. In the final quarter, the Red Foxes took a few quick shots, we had a few turnovers, and with four seconds remaining we had one last shot to force overtime. It missed and we lost. The Sunbirds of Fresno Pacific are up next on Friday at 4 pm. If you plan it right, you can watch baseball, track and field, water polo, and then lacrosse in the space of a few hours. Come on out and support your Dawgs!
