The first of only two home track and field events played out over several hours on Ashel Cunningham Track; so after baseball I was able to make the easy walk down and catch several races and some of the throws. Isn't it nice to be at Redlands where you can walk from one great venue to the next without much effort? On the track, we looked good in most everything that I saw. The sprints were amazingly fast, the throws were long, the distance runs looked smooth, and the jumping and vaulting was exceptional. What a great atmosphere. Way to go Dawgs! I hope some of us made some NCAA cuts. If not, there are meets ahead where more chances lie. Our last home meet is a SCIAC multi-dual meet on April 2 and it starts at 11 am. This one is a league event so come on out and cheer your Bulldogs on.
