Saturday Football vs. the Sagehens

Talulah and I travelled west for the Pomona-Pitzer game so we could hang out at a tail gate party with the Gardner clan. They have issues because of split loyalties, but we clearly swayed the momentum over to the Bulldog side. Even if we hadn't the arrival of Chancellor James Appleton and Ron Stephany would have. They stopped by for some tasty food before we all headed over to Merritt Field.

There was a sizable Redlands contingent at the game, perhaps even larger than the home team's crowd. It didn't take long for the dogs to score. We went on the board first and never looked back. It's safe to say someone let a dog loose in the hen house and left havoc behind in its wake. We stayed through most of the first half until a sudden downpour drove us under cover. With the game well in hand, we headed home so we could catch some rest before the ladies soccer game. The football team won the game 52-14.
