Men's Basketball vs. Pomona-Pitzer (W 64-57)

Duke wasn't sure if he's ever heard Currier Gym as loud as he did tonight. With well over 600 fans in their seats or on their feet, we had to go to overtime to get this victory for our Five Seniors last regular home season game. Tonight witnessed the end of storied careers for Kent, Patrick, Jordan, Matt, and Andrew. Well... we will get to see at least one more home game in the post season. But after that, those five will be missed for sure. Tonight, the Sagehens looked to be an easy mark. They are out of the post season and they haven't played well on the road. But no one told them. Just when it looked like we were ready to pull away in the second half, a late run by the Sagehens (or really one Sagehen on fire) found us struggling and down three points with 6 minutes to go. We clawed back in like Bulldogs do, tied the game, and almost ended it at the second half buzzer. Vocal support from the student section propelled us to victory over the last five minutes. Matt led our scorers with 18 followed by 15 for Tristan, 14 for Jack, and 13 for Andrew. Great job.
