Women's Basketball vs. Pomona-Pitzer (W 70-33)

As it was Senior Night, Duke attended the final regular season home game for two Bulldogs that started under his watch; Allison and Mackenzie. The Sagehens were visiting Currier Gym and for about the first ten minutes, they played us pretty tight. Our offense was working but our shots weren't dropping. Luckily, our defense again proved solid and when we finally started scoring, the Sagehens couldn't keep up. By the end of the first half we were up 15 and from there we never looked back. Allison led all scorers with 16 and Brittany, Mariah, and Courtney all hit double digits as well. We owned the boards 55-33 and the 22 assists we posted show how well we move the ball and look for each other. Great game tonight. We'll need a few days to recover and get back some players for our run into the post season. We're assured another home game so we'll get at least one more chance to watch our two Seniors. Duke was happy for the return visit to Currier Gym too.
