On Saturday at 1 PM, the Bulldog Men faced off against the Scarlett Raiders of Rutgers University-Newark on Farquhar Field. (How come it seems like all the teams we've been playing this weekend are wearing red????) It was a scoreless 1st half with the Dawgs seeming to be dogging it in the midday heat. Rutgers scored in the second half and the Bulldogs rallied to tie with 7 minutes left in the game. They headed to sudden-death overtime. In a momentary lapse of defense, the Scarlett Raiders took advantage and scored the golden goal. No matter the outcome, Redlands soccer is exciting to watch. Next up is regional foe Chapman on 9/11. Come out and support the Dawgs!!!! Go Redlands!!!
