Softball vs. the Sagehens (W 8-0; L 7-10)

Our Bulldog bats were hitting the ball well today at the Field of Dreams. In the opening game we had 12 hits and 8 RBIs. Kayla and Lizett each had three. The Sagehens had only 3 hits total and as you might guess Kayla shut them out the entire way for her 12th win of the season. That was impressive. And in the second game we had 14 hits and 7 RBIs. Sounds like we should have won. But Pomona-Pitzer had 11 hits and made the most of them by pushing across 10 runs. So we split the series and find ourselves in a tight SCIAC race, percentage points from the lead. With these two games behind us, we have two more tomorrow against Cal Lu. This will be Senior Day for Aleisha, Lizett, and Stacey so enjoy what should be a perfect softball weather and find yourselves in the stands or in a lawn chair to pay your respects to three great Bulldogs in their last regular home game of the season.
