Rain does not affect swimming events (unless there is lightning!). About 9 teams braved the wet weather to participate in the Redlands Pentathlon at Thompson Aquatic Center on Saturday morning. Each swimmer had to hit the water in 5 events - 100 Butterfly, 100 Backstroke, 100 Breaststroke, 100 Freestyle and an Individual Medley. I got to cheer on several Bulldogs in the first couple events. We have a great team with lots of depth and speed and some new talented freshmen. It will be fun to see how their times improve as the season progresses. Go Bulldogs!!!!
