Take a Kid to the Game Night

I was tuckered from all the fun in the snow so I sent my kid, Talulah, and her kid, Thurber, to the games tonight. The gym was packed they tell me. Thanks for all the support. They told me about a few student supporters sporting paint and bulldog like bellies as well as some interesting rabbit ears on another group. I'm not sure what those were. Anyway, our lady Bulldogs jumped out to a commanding lead at half time and kept up the pressure for the first part of the second half. It was then that the Regals went on a run that ultimately deflated our momentum. We went cold, let them back in, and found ourselves on the losing end 64-60. It happens. Now there's a three way tie at the top. The second game of the evening featured a similar start by the men and an eventual run by the Kingsmen, but this time we caught ourselves before it became pandemic. The men won 71-52 and are now in a three way tie for second place. Great job. And thanks to all the kids who came out and had a chance to shoot some hoops at half time. T and Thurber enjoyed that tremendously.
