Well the Bulldog run of Saturday wins finally ended with an 88-77 loss to the Poets of Whittier. It started poorly for us when fast break after fast break paced the Poets to a 17 point lead in the early going of the first half. Remarkably, we pawed our way back into the game and actually led by two points at half. We had trouble hitting our rhythm and our shots the rest of the way. We shot 38 percent for the game and 58 percent from the free throw line. We're still in second place with an 8-3 SCIAC record but we'll need the last three away games to regain our momentum. And four Seniors were honored before the game. Four Seniors who need one more win to get to 50. Four Seniors who have combined for over 1,800 points! Pat may have the lion share of those points but the leadership and solid play from Andrew, Breck, and Bryan cannot be overlooked. Well done gentlemen! Now let's get number 50 behind us before we head into the tournament.
