Baseball vs. Rutgers-Newark (W 7-5)

In what will be the first of two games against the Scarlet Raiders this season, our Bulldogs came out on top 7-5. Kyle pitched a solid six innings, giving up one run on two hits, but the Scarlet Raiders bats came alive in the late innings against our bullpen. We ended up throwing four more pitchers at them over the last three innings but eventually Casey closed out the game by getting them to hit into a double play. We played great defense today, highlighted by a running catch up the slope in right field by Nate. That was a game changer. That's five wins in a row and 8-2 overall at The Yard. We play Kean on Wednesday at 2:30 pm. Let's go Dawgs!
