Because of classes and tennis, I missed the earlier water polo match we played against Fresno Pacific in the CBU Lancer Invite No. 2 Tournament. We won 9-6. However, drawn by the lights and the cheers you can see and hear from the track, I made my way over to the Thompson Aquatic Center to see our 7 pm match against Indiana. The Hoosiers were riding a seven game winning streak including two games played earlier in the day. And they came out on fire to build a 6-1 lead in the first half. But our Bulldogs kept fighting and slowly chipped away only to eventually fall 13-10. There was a lot to cheer for during the game. These Lady Bulldogs are fun to watch. We play two more games tomorrow and true to water polo form, the weather may turn a bit cold and wet. Bring your umbrella just in case, but come on out and root on your Dawgs!
