In honor of the birthday of Dr. Suess this week, Mariposa Elementary School celebrated with Read Across America Day. I warmed up by trotting a mile with the running club (I'm preparing for the Run Through Redlands!) and then got into reading. There were readers from Moore Middle School and REV as well as firemen, policemen, and other professionals. I enjoyed all the hugs and pats from the students. Principal Mr. B is the best!
