How many different cat mascots can visit us in one weekend? Leopards, Panthers, and now the Tigers of Trinity University pranced onto Verdieck Courts ranked higher than our Bulldogs and looking to steal victory. While I thought we might be down or tired from yesterday's loss to another Texas team, Bulldogs are resilient and we came out strong. We won all three doubles matches! That would prove crucial as the Tigers clawed their way back in during singles. Julia won a three set match to put us up 4-2 only to see it go to 4-4 soon thereafter. It was down to the last match of the day. Our Number 3 Bulldog Sara took three sets, but she eventually won giving the Bulldogs a great win against a quality opponent. Now we have a day to rest before the next ranked team visits us this Tuesday. Wouldn't you guess, they're Tigers too. When will those silly cats learn?
